[Howto] HTC magicroots (fast version)


Here again very briefly and just a guide to the HTC root privileges to get. gave the detailed HowTo's here.

first Android Developer SDK download and unzip ( Link )
second Debugging mode in the Magic activate (Menu> Settings> Applications> Development> USB debugging)
third install USB drivers on PC / check
- mobile phone via USB to the PC.
- Terminal (Command Prompt) on the PC open
- In the SDK subdirectory "tools" switch
- With command "adb devices" . Check
- Issue:

List of devices attached
XXXXXXXXXXXX device will

If the list is empty, the driver must be installed / reinstalled. (Supplied with the SDK)
4th Alternative download ROM ( CyanogenMod )
- In update.zip umbenennnen and copy to the SD card. (Not a subfolder)
5th Image Recovery download ( Cyanogen's Recovery ROM )
- In the Tools folder store (from the SDK)
6th Recovery ROM start
- On the phone in the fast boot mode (USB Connect> Mobile off> Hold Back button > Phone switch)
- In the terminal (still in the Tools folder from the SDK) enter:!
almost boot boot-cm-recovery 1.4.img
- Waiting on the phone to the Recovery-ROM is launched
7th Install alternative-ROM
- instant messaging on the phone:
apply sdcard: update.zip
- was with> HOME < bestätigen

That's it. Is very easy! Do not frighten, the first "new" boot process takes a long time. Everything at your own risk!
